The Utah State Aggies (1-4) welcome the Air Force Falcons (4-1) to Maverik Stadium Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook‘s lines around the Air Force at Utah State odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.
Air Force is coming into this battle following a 13-10 win over Navy. It has taken down Nevada, Navy, Northern Iowa and Colorado so far this season, 3 of those games being double-digit victories as well.
While the Falcons are easy to predict, they’ve been impossible to stop, averaging 369.8 rushing yards per game this season, the most in the nation. RB Brad Roberts leads the team with 573 yards and 7 touchdowns.
As for Utah State, it has had a disappointing season, losing to Alabama 55-0 in its second game. It has lost to Weber State, UNLV and BYU since, only having beaten UConn.
The Aggies are also mainly a running program with RB Calvin Tyler Jr. leading the way. He has 396 yards through 5 games this season with the Aggies averaging 152.8 yards on the ground per game as a team.

Air Force at Utah State picks and predictions
Prediction
Air Force 38, Utah State 24
Moneyline
PASS.
Air Force is on the road and still a -475 favorite, so I’ll pass here.
The value, especially taking on a program that had double-digit wins last season, is just not there. Betting on an upset, after what Utah State has shown, also doesn’t make much sense.
Against the spread
LEAN AIR FORCE -10.5 (-115).
Simply put, Air Force has been running all over teams, and the Utah State run defense isn’t that good.
The Falcons average the most rushing yards in the nation while the Aggies allow 188.4 per game. That’s going to be a battle that’s absolutely exploited in this matchup.
Air Force is 3-2 against the spread (ATS) while Utah State is 2-3. Even the Aggies offensive strength, in the run game, isn’t that strong as they have just a 3.7 yards per carry average.
Expect the advantage for the away side to be too great for Utah State to handle.
Over/Under
BET OVER 54.5 (-108).
Utah State was shut out against Alabama and then struggled against Weber State. Since that FCS battle, the Aggies have stepped up tremendously, averaging 25 points per game.
Utah State’s 2 quarterbacks have combined for 11 interceptions as well, so its turnovers should help spark some easy Air Force drives. Without a real ability to stop the Falcons, they should be able to rack up touchdowns.
Air Force has scored 40 or more points in 3 games. I’ll back the OVER 54.5 (-108) here as another way to bet on Air Force.
