AFC South news round-up: Metchie diagnosed with Leukemia, Leonard’s name change

Find out what’s going on in the AFC South with our weekly round-up.

With another Sunday upon us, it’s time to take a look around the AFC South to see what the Tennessee Titans’ division rivals — the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars — are up to.

This past week was an exciting one for NFL fans and media like, as training camps around the league kicked off.

In the AFC South, Jacksonville took the practice field first on Monday, while Tennessee and Indianapolis had their first practices on Wednesday. Houston had the latest start, with its first practice on Saturday.

We found out some unfortunate news in Houston, as Texans rookie wideout John Metchie revealed he has been diagnosed with cancer and will likely miss the 2022 campaign.

In Indianapolis, a Colts linebacker Darius Leonard is looking to go by a different first name. In Jacksonville, edge rusher Josh Allen threw some shade at Urban Meyer, and deservedly so.
