AFC East news: Patriots-Broncos game moved, Bills-Titans next?

Could the Buffalo Bills’ game in Week 5 be moved next?

The NFL scheduling folks are earning their pay this weekend.

After having tentatively moved two games due to COVID-19 concerns, one of those moves was already moved… again. Could that mean another is en route?

Let’s get to the details.

The first contest changed for a second time this weekend was one involving the Bills’ AFC East rivals, the Patriots. Their meeting with the Broncos was moved to Monday Night Football. That game has now been cut completely from Week 5 and has since been moved to Week 6, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Broncos were supposed to play the Dolphins in Week 6, but now that’s not happening and the Broncos will play the Patriots. What happened to Broncos-Dolphins at this point is unknown.

So here’s where the Bills come in: That Patriots-Broncos game was rescheduled because the Pats had a positive COVID-19 test result from a staff member on Sunday… as did the Titans via a coach.

So that begs the question, what will the NFL do with Bills-Titans? Stay tuned to Bills Wire for the latest updates.
