AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest Week 2 live results: Barbed wire and shark cages

Check out AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest live results for July 20, including the Barbed Wire Death Match between Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho.

Let’s get ready to get bloody!

There’s no guarantee of course, but when you’re advertising anything called a Barbed Wire Death Match that also features a shark cage, there’s a good chance someone, or more than one someone, is bleeding. And given what’s gone down between Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho during the weeks leading up to tonight’s Fyter Fest Week 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, that’s probably just fine with them.

Even the members of the Jericho Appreciation Society appear to be a little confused as to why they need to be suspended over the ring in a shark cage, but that’s simply good synergy on the part of AEW and its broadcast partner. Don’t knock it.

But there’s much more in store for tonight’s episode from Duluth, Georgia. Darby Allin and Brody King will renew acquaintances (meaning try to beat the crap out of each other), while Christian Cage and Luchasaurus will do their best to beat and verbally berate the Varsity Blonds. Best Friends will have their hands full when they take on Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta.

The women of AEW will get some of the spotlight as well, as Athena and Willow Nightingale take on Jade Cargill and her right-hand baddie, Kiera Hogan. Hopefully they let Stokely Hathaway say something cool, meaning just give him a microphone.

And don’t forget the tag teams, as Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland celebrate their AEW championship, while FTR gets a chance to talk ahead of their ROH tag team title defense in a best-of-three falls match with the Briscoe Brothers at Death Before Dishonor this weekend.

That makes for plenty of reasons to tune in by our count, but if you can’t watch tonight, check back throughout the night as we update this post with the latest AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest live results.
