Aaron Donald records 100th career sack, fastest DT ever to reach that number

Aaron Donald hit 100 career sacks on Sunday, becoming just the 2nd defensive tackle to reach the century mark – and the fastest ever

Aaron Donald added another impressive accomplishment to his career resume on Sunday – though, it was an inevitable one after he re-signed with the Rams this offseason. In the first quarter against the Cardinals, Donald sacked Kyler Murray for his 100th career sack.

\He’s just the second defensive tackle ever to reach that number, joining John Randle (137.5). Warren Sapp came close, recording 96.5 sacks in his career.

Donald hit 100 sacks in just 130 career games, making him the fastest defensive tackle in NFL history to reach 100 in his career. Randle had 137.5 sacks in 219 career games, and Donald could very easily surpass Randle’s total if he continues to play for two-plus more years.

Here’s a look at the play that got Donald to 100.
