A look back at Tennessee’s win at Vanderbilt in 2014

A look back at the Vols’ 2014 win against Vanderbilt in Nashville.

No. 8 Tennessee (9-2, 5-2 SEC) will play at Vanderbilt (6-5, 3-4 SEC) on Saturday in Week 14 of the 2024 college football season.

Kickoff between the Vols and Commodores is slated for noon EST at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. ABC will televise the regular-season finale for both teams.

The Vols led, 17-10, at halftime.

Tennessee never trailed in the contest and led, 7-0, after Cameron Sutton scored on a 76-yard punt return with 8 minutes, 18 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

Aaron Medley kicked a 36-yard field goal and extend the Vols’ advantage to 10-9.

The Commodores tied the game, 10-10, before Tennessee regained its lead on a 1-yard touchdown run by quarterback Joshua Dobbs. Dobbs recorded a second rushing touchdown in the third quarter.

Ralph Webb rushed for a three-yard touchdown to end the game’s scoring.

Dobbs completed 11-of-20 passing attempts for 92 yards and two interceptions. He also led Tennessee in rushing yards (91).

Tennessee wide receiver Pig Howard recorded five receptions for 55 receiving yards.

Justin Coleman, Brian Randolph and Todd Kelly Jr. each recorded one interception for Tennessee in the game.
