Game day weather forecast one week out for Tennessee-Ohio State

Updated weather forecast for the Tennessee-Ohio State game in Columbus.

The first-round of the College Football Playoff will be contested Dec. 20-21.

No. 9 seed Tennessee (10-2, 6-2 SEC) will play at No. 8 seed Ohio State (10-2, 7-2 Big Ten) on Dec. 21. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

The contest will be the first for Tennessee all time playing in Ohio.

With seven days remaining until kickoff, Vols Wire looks at the weather forecast for the Tennessee-Ohio State contest. The Weather Channel’s 10-day forecast is projecting a high of 30 degrees with a 19 degree low in Columbus on Dec. 21.

During the day on Dec. 21, conditions are projected as mostly cloudy, 10-15 mph wind and an 11 percent chance of a wintry mix. A few clouds from time to time, 5-10 mph wind and a two percent chance of a wintry mix is projected at night for the game.
