Fans are expecting Ryan Day to get it done this season. There’s no denying that this team is among the most talented sides that the Buckeyes have ever put on the field.
Day, who is 3-6 against top-five teams in his career, has struggled against some of the best of the best, including the last few times Ohio State has battle Michigan.
Those types of losses sting. A home defeat to the Indiana Hoosiers in a game which the Buckeyes are double-digit favorite in would be right up there with those gut-wrenching losses fans have seen over the last few seasons.
That said, Danny Kanell, a CBS Sports analyst, is ready to suggest that Day’s seat will be getting hotter, especially towards the start of next season, if he losses this one. Here’s the entire segment.

Day has proven to be a strong recruiter and has continued the pedigree that Urban Meyer left. However, his performance in big-time games has certainly left something to be desired.
Let’s hope he can add to his resume, not take from it, against the No. 5 Hoosiers on Saturday.
