Broncos keep same rank as last week in NFL power rankings

The Broncos are ranked No. 20 in USA TODAY’s NFL power rankings, their same placement as last week.

Coming off a convincing 33-10 victory over a depleted New Orleans Saints team on Thursday Night Football last week, the Denver Broncos are now ranked 20th in Nate Davis’ latest NFL power rankings for USA TODAY Sports. That’s unchanged from the team’s No. 20 ranking last week.

Here is Davis’ commentary on Denver going into Week 8:

Did you see the grin on Courtland Sutton’s face after Thursday’s trampling of the Saints? Oh, and he had zero targets for the first time in his career. Truly a rare kind of receiver.

Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 1, the Los Angeles Chargers are ranked No. 19 and the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked No. 29.

The Carolina Panthers (1-6), who the Broncos will host at Empower Field at Mile High this week, are ranked No. 28.

The Cleveland Browns are ranked No. 32 (last). To view the complete NFL power rankings, visit USATODAY.com.
