Kickoff time, TV info announced for Clemson-Florida State game

Kickoff time for Clemson vs. Florida State on Oct. 5 was announced late Saturday.

Kickoff time and TV information for the Clemson Tigers’ annual showdown with the Florida State Seminoles were announced late Saturday.

The Tigers and ‘Noles will square off in prime time at 7 p.m. ET at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee. The game will be televised on ESPN.

The network had previously announced that Clemson-Florida State would kick off either at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN or 7:30 p.m. on ABC.

The Tigers fell to FSU a year ago in Death Valley, marking the Seminoles’ first win in the series in nine years. A lot has changed since then.

With its 40-14 victory over the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday, Clemson improved to 3-1. Florida State, which fell 42-16 to SMU in Dallas in Week 5, dropped to 1-4 — less than a year after a 13-0 ACC championship season.
