The Cleveland Browns (1-2) meet the Las Vegas Raiders (1-2) for a Week 4 game at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Browns vs. Raiders odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Browns were stunned 21-15 at home against the New York Giants in Week 3 at home. Cleveland was favored by 6.5 points, but it slipped to 0-2 straight up (SU) and against the spread (ATS) as a favorite this season. The Under has cashed in each of the past 2 outings, too.

Cleveland’s defense has allowed just 17.0 PPG in the past 2 games, but the offense has managed 18 or fewer points in all 3 outings, putting a lot of pressure on the D.

The Raiders were embarrassed 36-22 by the previously winless Carolina Panthers last weekend, and now they must figure out a few things. QB Gardner Minshew was benched in the 4th quarter, but he is back as starter. He won’t have WR Davante Adams due to a hamstring injury, and DE Maxx Crosby is officially listed as doubtful on defense, too.

Browns at Raiders picks and predictions

Prediction

Browns 19, Raiders 16

Moneyline

The BROWNS (-135) are worth playing straight up, if you just want to declare a winner, and don’t want to fiddle around with the points.

It’s risky business backing Cleveland, as it has struggled mightily on offense. QB Deshaun Watson has missed TE David Njoku in the pass game, particularly for those underneath routes and as a safety valve. The offensive line has been dinged up from the jump, so Watson hasn’t had a lot of time to operate downfield.

The Raiders (+115) pass rush won’t be as good, unless Crosby miraculously is able to suit up. So, that should help Watson and the Cleveland offense. And, the Raiders have issues on offense with no Adams, and a run game which has struggled.

Against the spread

The BROWNS -2.5 (-110) are worth a look laying the little bit of points. While it is risky, since Cleveland is 0-2 SU/ATS as a favorite this season, it did win and cover in its only game on the road.

The Raiders +2.5 (-110) are without Adams, and likely Crosby, and those are their 2 best players. Las Vegas opened as a 1-point favorite until that news dropped late in the week. That’s how important both of those players are.

Over/Under

UNDER 36 (-110) is a low number, but it’s worth playing lightly.

Cleveland has scored 18 or fewer points in each game this season, and Las Vegas managed just 22 points against a dismal Carolina defense in Week 3, and now it must figure out how to score without Adams.

While he doesn’t get a lot of touches, RB Ameer Abdullah is out, too, the depth at running back is a question, and TE Michael Mayer is out with a personal situation.
