Michigan football fan has perfect clapback at Ohio State conspiracy theorist

Priceless. #GoBlue

You have no idea how deep the rabbit hole goes, they say. Not only will everything that has been accomplished in recent years be vacated, but everyone’s in on it. Time and a proper investigation will reveal all of that.

We’re unsure if we’re describing the plot of the 1997 Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts film ‘Conspiracy Theory’ or if we’re sub-adequately summarizing BuckeyeScoop’s X account. They’re not dissimilar in practicality, but they are in terms of the protagonist (in their own mind) being right.

Disgraced former Ohio State player Kirk Barton and his cohort ‘NevadaBuck’ — who were disavowed and banned by the Buckeyes for stealing practice film — have been on a rampage on social media for nearly a year, making the BuckeyeScoop X account’s sole focus on Michigan football and the Connor Stalions saga. With Barstool Sports president Dave Portnoy pledging to offer $3 million annually to secure a transfer portal quarterback for the Wolverines, somehow that triggered the BuckeyeScoop account in terms of sign stealing. They insinuate that you cannot steal signs via TV copy (which is erroneous) and offer millions (they don’t likely have) to anyone who can prove that you can steal signs via TV copy.

And that’s where Michigan alum and provocateur Scott Bell comes in.

Bell had the perfect clapback to BuckeyeScoop’s extended silly season, pointing out one really important sign that could be attained from simply watching TV copy.

It really doesn’t get better than that. But it certainly won’t do anything to curb the obsession Barton and NevadaBuck seem to have with all things Michigan in lieu of the team they actually root for.
