Denver Broncos inside linebacker Alex Singleton was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday, ending his 2024 season.
Singleton tore his ACL eight plays into Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he didn’t realize it and played the rest of the game. Following the news of his injury, the 30-year-old linebacker posted a message on his Instagram page on Wednesday night.
“Not the way I expected my 2024 season to end,” Singleton wrote on his social media page. “But I am not going to let it define me. Here for the BOYZ all season long. Everyone else see you in 2025!
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out. It doesn’t go unnoticed 🙏🏻”

Singleton led the team with 31 tackles through three games, including 10 tackles against the Bucs on Sunday. Singleton also led the Broncos in tackles in 2023 (177) and 2022 (163).
Singleton has one more year left on his contract after this season, so he’ll be set to return in 2025.
