The New York Giants got in the win column for the first time this season with their 21-15 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
They also got themselves etched into the NFL record books in the process.
Nine different Giants defenders recorded at least a half a sack in the game.
The Giants became the fourth team in NFL history to have that many in the same game since 1982, when the individual sack became an official statistic, joining the Buffalo Bills (Oct. 30, 2011), Dallas Cowboys (Sept. 29, 1985) and Kansas City Chiefs (Dec. 8, 1985).
Rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers had another impressive outing with eight catches for 78 yards and two touchdowns. He is making quite a name for himself here in the first three games of his NFL career.

Nabers, who has 23 receptions for 271 yards and three touchdowns this season, is the first player in NFL history with at least 20 receptions and three touchdown catches in his first three career games.
Nabers’ 23 receptions are tied with Anquan Boldin (23 receptions in 2003) for the second-most receptions by a player in his first three career games in NFL history. Only Puka Nacua (30 receptions in 2023) had more.
Nabers, at 21 years and 56 days old, is the youngest wide receiver in NFL history with two touchdown receptions in a game, surpassing Mike Evans (21 years and 73 days old on Nov. 2, 2014).
This comes a week after Nabers became the youngest player in NFL history to record 10+ receptions, 100+ yards, and 1+ touchdowns in a single game.
Former Giants are also chiseling their names in the record books.
Safety Xavier McKinney, who signed with Green Bay via free agency in March, became the first player to record an interception in each of his first three games with a team since Cortland Finnegan of the St. Louis Rams in 2012.
And, of course, running back Saquon Barkley continues to shine. Barkley totaled 156 scrimmage yards (147 rushing, nine receiving) and two rushing touchdowns in the Philadelphia Eagles’ 15-12 win over the Saints in New Orleans.
Barkley also had 132 scrimmage yards and two rushing touchdowns in Week 1. He is the third player in the past 20 seasons with at least 125 scrimmage yards and two rushing touchdowns in two of his team’s first three games of a season, joining Tennessee’s Chris Johnson (2010) and Miami’s Raheem Mostert (2023).
