Former Nebraska head football coach Scott Frost is looking for a return to the coaching ranks. Frost recently spoke with Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports and made it clear that he will return to the sidelines and he hopes that it will be sooner rather than later.
“For the first time in my life, I don’t know what’s next. I’m dying to get back in.”
Frost was fired just three games into his fifth season as Nebraska’s head coach after compiling a 16-31 record. He tells Dodd that he knows he’s a good coach and is just waiting for the right opportunity.
“I know this, there’s some good coaches out there. I’m a good coach. I belong doing it. I just don’t know for sure where that’s going to be right now. If the right head coach job comes along, I’d take it. If the right coordinator job comes, I’d take it.”
