Outside of the esteemed few national champions, few Duke players have lived through as much Blue Devils history as senior team captain Jeremy Roach.
The fourth-year Blue Devil played a notable role in legendary head coach Mike Krzyzewski’s final run with Duke, which ended with a trip to the Final Four. He also helped Coach K’s successor, Jon Scheyer, win the ACC Tournament in his debut season last year.
Roach contributed to all four teams he’s been a part of in Durham, averaging at least 8.5 points per game during every season he’s worn the Duke uniform. As a result, through Saturday’s 76-67 win against Florida State, Roach has scored 1,316 points as a Blue Devil, and his career totals are starting to put him in some lofty all-time company.
Roach passed Tate Armstrong (1,304 career points) for 41st on Duke’s all-time scoring list with his Saturday performance. With six regular-season games remaining, here’s a look at just how high the team captain can rise.
