ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky was plenty upset for Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
Orlovsky is not quite a Bills fan, but he is certainly one of Allen. Upon re-watching the game film of the Bills’ 27-24 loss to the Chiefs in the AFC divisional round, Orlovsky sounded almost heartbroken for Allen on a play that hurt Bills fans too.
Receiver Stefon Diggs is getting his fair share critics for the drop, but Orlovsky wasn’t exactly coming after him… but the blame only really lies with Diggs. A deep shot down the right sideline went through Diggs’ hands and it could have made all the difference in the one-score game.
Orlovsky said it would have been one of the best throws the NFL had ever seen… if only Diggs held on.
“Perfect. I mean, it’s perfect,” Orlovsky said. “All-time—all-time throw.”
