Bills set to face Chiefs in upcoming AFC Divisional round

The #Chiefs are next:

The Buffalo Bills will face a very familiar postseason foe in the next round of the playoffs.

The Bills (11-6) and Kansas City Chiefs (11-6) will do battle once again in the postseason.

The Bills and Chiefs will face off on Sunday in Divisional round. Buffalo entered the postseason as the No. 2 seed, meanwhile, Kansas City is the No. 3 team in the AFC.

What’s different: Location. For the first time ever, the Chiefs will play on the road in the playoffs since quarterback Patrick Mahomes began his career.

Buffalo finished above KC in the AFC standings thanks to their 20-17 December win over the Chiefs.

Buffalo advanced to the upcoming game after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 31-17 in the Wild Card. In Kansas City’s first outing of the postseason, they defeated the Miami Dolphins 26-7.

The matchup marks the first time since the 1993 AFC Championship that the Bills will host the Chiefs in a postseason game. The Bills won that game 30-13 to advance to Super Bowl XXXVII.

The Bills are 5-1 at home in the playoffs under head coach Sean McDermott.
