Over the last few seasons, Notre Dame football has done a very good job going after roster holes and filling needs via the transfer portal.
Multiple Irish wide receivers opted to leave, so the quickest way for head coach Marcus Freeman to put a bandaid on the room was through the portal. With Kris Mitchell already making the move from FIU, Notre Dame was looking for another to join him in the transfer class.
Former Clemson wide receiver [autotag]Beaux Collins[/autotag] was on the list, and on Sunday evening, committed to the Irish. A solid playmaker for the Tigers, he had 38 receptions for 510 yards and 3 touchdowns this fall.

As a graduate transfer, Collins will have just one season left to play in South Bend, but we have seen success stories like his before wearing Blue and Gold.
