Breece Hall questionable, Saleh ‘feels good about gameday’

Jets running back Breece Hall is questionable for Sunday against the Texans but Robert Saleh thinks he’ll be good to go.

Jets running back Breece Hall is questionable for Sunday against the Houston Texans with an ankle injury.

Hall did not practice Wednesday or Thursday but did return in a limited fashion Friday. Head coach Robert Saleh didn’t sound too worried about Hall’s availability for Sunday.

“Yeah, he’s dealing with an ankle,” Saleh said. “It’s just trying to get him comfortable, but we feel good about game day.”

Hall also felt good about his chances of playing this week even with missing two days of practice. Being able to return to practice Friday is a good sign for him being available.

The Jets have Dalvin Cook and Israel Abanikanda on the active roster plus fullback Nick Bawden. New York also has Xazavian Valladay on the practice squad.
