On Friday afternoon, Rutgers baseball fans were finally able to start marking their calendars. Rutgers revealed their 2024 schedule, which will include 55 games and five-weekend series at Bainton Field. In total, the Scarlet Knights will play 24 games at home.
The fun will begin on February 16 when Rutgers opens its season with a three-game series at Winthrop. It will be the first of five road weekend series for the Scarlet Knights. That includes trips to Old Dominion (Feb. 23-25), Charleston Southern (March 1-3), High Point/North Carolina A&T (March 8-10) and Delaware (March 15-17).
After touring the country, Rutgers first home series is set to begin on March 22 against Uconn. The Huskies will be making the return trip of the home-and-home series that began last season.

Following their matchup with the Huskies, Rutgers is set to open Big Ten play against Michigan State from March 29-31. Their Conference slate also includes series with Purdue, Nebraska, Penn State and Ohio State.

Once the final out is recorded in the regular season, Rutgers will shift its attention to postseason play. The Big Ten Tournament is set to take place at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha beginning on May 21st, with the NCAA Tournament beginning the final weekend in May.
After a promising 2023 campaign, Rutgers has high expectations for what the 2024 campaign holds. Friday signaled that the baseball season is drawing closer by the hour.
