Ravens HC John Harbaugh expresses confidence in TEs Isaiah Likely, Charlie Kolar

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh expressed confidence in tight ends Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar

The Baltimore Ravens will be without tight end Mark Andrews for the foreseeable future after the star suffered a serious ankle injury in the team’s Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. It will be hard to replace his production, but Baltimore has two second-year tight ends who are up for the challenge in Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar.

When asked about Likely and Kolar, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh gave a vote of confidence to both players as he talked about what each has done well this season. He mentioned that both have developed in multiple ways, including blocking, pass catching and more.

“I have seen that. They develop, and they’ve been getting better really every day [in] every part of their game as tight ends – in-line blocking, perimeter blocking, pass game stuff. Charlie [Kolar] made the catch [on Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals]. Isaiah [Likely] had numerous perimeter blocks that were outstanding. Charlie’s been doing a really good job with the in-line blocking the last month or so that he’s been out there doing it. [I] have full confidence in those guys. I know they’re going to go in there and get their shot and do a great job with it.”
