A Tyreek Hill catch (and fumble) led to a Chiefs touchdown and NFL fans all made the same joke

The first half of Dolphins-Chiefs didn’t exactly go how Tyreek Hill planned.

Tyreek Hill talked a lot of smack going into Sunday’s game against his former team. But the thing about talking junk is you have to back it up or be prepared for what’s certainly coming your way when you don’t. And in the first half of Sunday’s game between the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs, Hill did not back it up.

The Dolphins were outscored 21-0, and the last of those three Chiefs touchdowns came courtesy of Hill himself. The NFL’s leading receiver caught a screen pass late in the half but was hit almost immediately and fumbled the ball to the Chiefs, who returned it for a 59-yard score.

Not exactly what Hill had in mind when he predicted a 250-yard game for himself.

To make matters worse, the player who forced the fumble, Trent McDuffie, is the player Kansas City drafted with the pick they acquired from trading Hill away.

The irony of it all led social media to make the same joke.
