The 2023-24 NBA season begins Tuesday night with two games, with the defending world champion Denver Nuggets hosting the Los Angeles Lakers and then the Golden State Warriors hosting the Phoenix Suns.
The Little Rock native was an honorable mention All-American and first-team all-SEC during his one year in Fayetteville, along with making the all-freshman team and being named SEC Freshman of the Year.
He played an integral role in the Warriors winning their most recent NBA title as a rookie in 2022, coming off the bench and providing 3-point shooting and defensive help.
Meanwhile, Andre Iguodala, a long-time member of the Warriors who won the 2015 NBA Finals MVP with them, retired in the offseason.
Iguodala was once a Razorback signee under Nolan Richardson, but the Hall of Fame coach was fired the first week of March 2002 and Iguodala requested out of his letter of intent and spent two years at Arizona before being drafted ninth overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2004.
