New Boston Celtics floor general Jrue Holiday took some time to share his journey to the team with Celtics reporter Amanda Pflugrad, from learning about the trade to his excitement about joining the storied ball club. Holiday discussed the honesty and openness of the Celtics’ organization and their commitment to him.
He also mentioned his nervousness and excitement about joining a team with established chemistry and the opportunity to play with top-tier players. Holiday complimented Joe Mazzulla‘s straightforward coaching style and the foundation laid by Jaylen Brown and Jason Tatum. Holiday also highlighted reuniting with Charles Lee, a familiar face from Milwaukee.
The UCLA alum spoke about helping the Celtics win their 18th championship banner and his excitement about this new chapter in his career.
