Takeaways: Colorado leaves Fort Worth with an upset of No. 17 TCU

We learned a lot about the #cubuffs from their masterful Week 1 performance

The Colorado Buffaloes are built differently. This 2023 squad looks like a beast ready to take the spotlight of college football after beating the No. 17 TCU Horned Frogs, 45-42, on Saturday.

Out are the days of 1-11 and in is the Coach Prime era, which started on the right foot in Week 1.

Colorado weathered both the Horned Frogs’ relentless assault and the Texas heat in scoring the upset. Plus, Deion Sanders kept the streak alive: He became Colorado’s fourth consecutive head coach to win his debut. But the future is much brighter than it was during those coaching tenures.
