Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow has been impressive in his 3 NFL seasons. Selected No. 1 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, he was named the 2021 AP Comeback Player of the Year after recovering from a torn ACL as a rookie and earned his 1st Pro Bowl appearance last season.

Below, we look at Joe Burrow‘s 2023 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.

Entering 2023, Burrow is expected to captain one of the most high-octane offenses in the NFL, becoming a top-5 or top-3 fantasy QB in the league. The ultra-accurate signal-caller is intriguing in terms of fantasy value.

Burrow has an ADP of 30.66 in redraft leagues, which puts him in the range of 3rd to 4th round, depending on the size of the league. His ADP is lower than his teammate WR Ja’Marr Chase (5.19), though.

Among quarterbacks, Burrow’s ADP puts him 5th at the position, behind Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles (16.88) and Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens (28.37), and slightly ahead of Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers (33.94).

Where should you draft Burrow?

Burrow’s fantasy value should get a boost this year from the addition of lineman Orlando Brown Jr. The strengthened offensive line will aid Burrow’s passing ability and should result in more fantasy points.

Burrow has Chase and WR Tee Higgins on the edges, making Cincinnati’s offense one of the most potent in the NFL. Burrow will be the main facilitator and should dictate the flow of the offense.

A training camp calf strain has kept him out of the preseason, but this shouldn’t impact his fantasy value as he should be ready for Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns. The Bengals should again be heavily reliant on Burrow. His attempts have increased from 404 to 520 to 606 last season. Expect another heavy dose of Burrow in the Bengals’ offense.

Wait to draft Burrow with other quarterbacks expected to go off the board first, but don’t let him fall past the 5th round and snag him in the 1st round or 2 in 2-QB leagues. When healthy, Burrow is one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the NFL.
