WATCH: Commanders owner Josh Harris high-fiving fans at pep rally

Harris attended the Commanders pep rally and joined in on the fun.

New Washington Commanders owner Josh Harris is doing everything right. In addition to saying all the right things and preaching patience for his ownership group in their quest to turn around the Commanders, Harris is also a man of action.

Shortly after he was confirmed as Washington’s new owner Thursday, Harris called into the “Grant and Danny” show on 106.7 The Fan, which was being held at the Old Ox Brewery in Ashburn. Harris, who was in Minneapolis for the NFL owners meetings, called the show and wanted to buy everyone at the Commanders sale party a beer.

He did just that, and a new t-shirt was born.

On Friday, Harris was introduced to the Washington media at FedEx Field. Afterward, Harris attended the team’s training camp pep rally hosted by former players Logan Paulsen and Fred Smoot.

Harris didn’t just give a customary “We are gonna win” speech; he jumped right into the action.

Harris was on stage with a huge smile on his face, high-fiving excited Washington fans.

Yep, it’s a new era indeed.
