Boom! After a short break from Texas A&M’s 2024 recruiting momentum ride, the Aggies have landed their 17th prospect in the cycle, as four-star safety Myles Davis, who was predicted by multiple recruiting outlets to land with the Texas Longhorns, has committed to the Aggies on Wednesday night!
Myles Davis is currently positioned as the 28th-ranked safety and 51st-ranked player in Texas, according to 247Sports, as he is set to enter his senior season at Judson High School in Converse, Texas, next season. During his 2022 junior season, Davis recorded 38 tackles, four interceptions, and six pass breakups, as his profile has continued to rise, leading to both USC and Texas immediately placing him as a high-priority prospect alongside the Aggies this summer.

At 6-1 and 180 pounds, Davis’s length, speed, vision, coverage range, and ball skills set him apart from most of the safety prospects in the class. After taking an official visit to College Station on June 23, Jimbo Fisher and his staff, specifically secondary coach Bryant Gross-Armiento and defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin deserve all the credit for locking down one of the best defensive prospects the 2024 cycle offers. Gig ’em, Myles!
