3-star defensive end Quintavius Johnson Jr. announced his commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday night. Johnson, from Mays High School in Atlanta, Georgia, ranks as the nation’s No. 545 overall prospect in the class of 2024.
At 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, Johnson also plays baseball and basketball.
But adding even more to his versatility is the fact that he actually started his high school football career off also playing quarterback before transitioning to defensive end full-time in 2022, according to his 247Sports player profile.
He’s put on about 40 pounds since then as a defensive lineman, Dawgnation noted.
