The Cleveland Browns’ addition of Juan Thornhill in free agency was an underrated move early in the offseason, but with his doppelganger playing in the ongoing NBA Finals, the veteran safety is getting attention for the striking similarities he shares with Denver Nuggets star Bruce Brown.
Thornhill took to Twitter on Sunday night to ask fans to stop pointing out that he looks like Brown, and the Browns’ official account responded to comedic effect.
Y’all gotta stop saying I look like dude from the Nuggets!! 😂

Though they may look similar in the face, Brown has about a four-inch height advantage on Thornhill, but the resemblance is undeniable. The team would go on to post the safety’s high school highlight reel from his days playing basketball at Altavista in Virginia, where he excelled as one of the Colonel’s best players.
has anyone ever seen them in the same room?? 👀 @Juan_Thornhill https://t.co/IBu5eD6v4a

With hops like that, theories surrounding Thornhill and Brown are sure to take flight as the Nuggets compete for their first NBA Championship in franchise history and the Browns (conveniently, for the conspiratorially-minded) head into their slowest point of the offseason.
