Given his elite speed, new Colorado wide receiver Tar’Varish Dawson is one of the top incoming transfer players I’m looking forward to watching next season.
A former four-star prospect (247Sports Composite) out of Florida, Dawson played his first two years of college football in the SEC at Auburn, albeit only appearing in five total games with two catches for the Tigers. Still, Dawson’s wheels should fit well into Sean Lewis’ up-tempo Colorado offense.
After entering the transfer portal on April 15, Dawson committed to Cincinnati on April 22 but soon changed his mind and joined head coach Deion Sanders’ Buffs on May 1.
