Mock trade has Nets trading Dorian Finney-Smith for Bucks’ first-round pick

The Brooklyn Nets would hypothetically be trading Dorian Finney-Smith for the Milwaukee Bucks’ first-round pick, per Bleacher Report.

The Brooklyn Nets are in a good position heading into their offseason as they have a multitude of ways to go with their franchise. While it is not in its best interest, Brooklyn could go into a full rebuild or if that option doesn’t seem good enough, they can always retool around Mikal Bridges.

Bridges is under contract for the next few seasons so the Nets do not have to worry about that for awhile. However, players that are important to the organization in one way or another, such as talented wing Cam Johnson, Brooklyn will have to make important decisions like how much are they willing to pay to keep Johnson in town now that he’s a restricted free-agent.

One of the players who could be at risk of being traded is forward Dorian Finney-Smith. Finney-Smith has been valuable as a shooter and defender for the Dallas Mavericks and the Nets during his career, but the Nets have a surplus of wings at the moment.
