2024 offensive tackle Kaedin Massey names his top 6 schools

2024 offensive tackle Kaedin Massey names his top six schools, including the Oklahoma Sooners.

Kaedin Massey has named his top six schools, with Oklahoma squarely in the mix for the three-star offensive tackle out of Lyndon, Kansas.

The main thing with Massey is his size. He’s 6-foot-8 and weighs 255 pounds. He’s the perfect size to excel at the next level and Bill Bedenbaugh would be a great mentor to mold Massey.

In addition to Oklahoma, Massey named Kansas, Ole Miss, Michigan State, Nebraska, and Kansas State to round out his top six choices.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine has Kansas in the lead for his services at 33.1%. Kansas State is right behind the Jayhawks at 29%. Anything can happen, but the hometown teams seem to be in the lead for the local Kansas product.

Massey hasn’t gone on an official visit to Oklahoma just yet but that’s coming this summer. He received an offer from the Sooners on February 1, 2023, and has stayed in contact with the Sooners coaching staff with Bill Bedenbaugh and Brent Venables being the primary recruiters for him.

“I really like the culture and the tone that coach Venables has set at Oklahoma,” Massey told On3’s Drew Schott. “He really has an inspirational side to his guys and he wants to make these guys become the best person they can be and the best football player they can be. I really like the S.O.U.L. program that they have, and it’s just something that you don’t see very much anywhere else.”

Currently, the Sooners have just on offensive lineman committed to their 2024 recruiting class, four-star OT Isaiah Autry.

Oklahoma should feel very good about where they stand for the under-the-radar prospect from north of the border.
