Defensive back transfer from Western Kentucky visiting Fayetteville

Razorback to host Western Kentucky defensive back via transfer portal.

Western Kentucky defensive back, A.J. Brathwaite, is expected to travel to Arkansas for an official visit Friday afternoon.

Brathwaite entered the portal and announced Florida International as his next destination, but the Razorbacks have found their way into the conversation for the versatile defensive back.

As a redshirt junior, he only started two games and appeared in eight while fighting off injuries. The best season in his college career was in 2021, when he started all 13 games, accumulating 64 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, two pass breakups, and one interception.

After the roster exodus from last season, the Hogs can always use depth, especially in the secondary. Whether or not Brathwaite will deommit from the FIU depends on whether or not Pittman and the Gang can impress the graduate transfer.
