No. 4 Tennessee (39-5, 16-2) defeated No. 13 Florida (32-14, 8-10 SEC), 10-6, Monday at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
The Lady Vols completed a series sweep against Florida. Tennessee has won eight straight games and six consecutive Southeastern Conference series.
Tennessee won the series opener, 9-1, while the Lady Vols were victorious, 11-10, in game No. 2 versus the Gators.
Tennessee welcomed back former Lady Vol pitcher Monica Abbott during the series.
Abbott played for Tennessee from 2004-07 and is one of the most decorated players in college softball history.
