Four-star UNC football recruiting target set for commitment

The UNC football program will soon find out its fate in the recruitment for a four-star tight end.

The North Carolina Tar Heels football program will soon learn its fate in the race for four-star tight end Max LeBlanc.

Just over a week after cutting his list of 31 offers down to a final four, he is apparently close to a decision. LeBlanc took to Twitter on Friday afternoon to reveal that his commitment is ‘coming soon.’

Now, there is no official date set for the announcement but we imagine it will be within the next week or so and possibly this weekend.

LeBlanc will pick between North Carolina, Michigan, Ohio State, and Tennessee, announcing them as his top four. The Tar Heels have tough competition in this recruitment, battling two Big Ten schools and an SEC program.

The 6-foot-3, 222-pound LeBlanc is a Chattanooga, Tennessee native that is the No. 18 tight end in the class and No. 4 player in the state of Tennessee per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.

As of now, no team has a crystal ball prediction on 247Sports and LeBlanc’s recruitment appears pretty open with just those four teams.
