Watch: Trevor Lawrence throws first pitch for Jumbo Shrimp

Trevor Lawrence brought the high heat at the Jumbo Shrimp’s home opener.

Football season is still far off on the horizon, but baseball season is just getting started. On Tuesday, the Triple-A Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp had their home opener at 121 Financial Ballpark and Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was there to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

The high heat from Lawrence was a little bit out of the strike zone, but far from the worst pitch delivered from a non-baseball player.

With Lawrence at the Jumbo Shrimp game on Tuesday were Jaguars defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris and tight end Evan Engram. Earlier this offseason, Robertson-Harris received a three-year contract extension and Engram was retained by the Jaguars with the franchise tag.

The Jumbo Shrimp, previously known as the Suns, are currently an affiliate of MLB’s Miami Marlins.
