Last season the Pittsburgh Steelers passing game felt the growing pains of the retirement of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Kenny Pickett looks to be the future of the franchise but it didn’t really materialize in the boxscore last season.
Pickett only mustered 184.9 passing yards per game which made stats a little hard to come by between wide receivers Diontae Johnson and George Pickens along with tight end Pat Freiermuth. But next year should be a better year for all of the offense. Which Steelers pass catcher will separate themselves from the rest?

For our money, we are banking on Pickens just taking over next season. It was clear last season he and Pickett have a connection that should only get better with a full offseason together. Johnson got a new contract to pay him like No. 1 wide receiver but his inconsistency still limits him. As for Freiermuth, he has the potential to be a Travis Kelce-type of player but he will never have those opportunities in this Pittsburgh offense.
