Former potential Ravens OC candidate hired as Buccaneers OC

A former Ravens offensive coordinator candidate was hired as the offensive coordinator for the Buccaneers

The Baltimore Ravens wrapped up a long search for their next offensive coordinator by officially hiring Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken on Tuesday. The move brings an innovative and creative mind to the Baltimore offense, and should help the team become more balanced on that side of the ball.

The Ravens interviewed 14 candidates for their offensive coordinator spot, spanning 21 interviews. After Baltimore hired Monken, one of those candidates took the offensive coordinator job with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Seahawks quarterbacks coach Dave Canales.
