Nets vs. Heat game preview: How to watch, TV channel, start time

Here’s the preview of Nets-Heat on Wednesday.

The Brooklyn Nets (33-24, fifth in the Eastern Conference) welcome the Miami Heat (32-26, sixth in the Eastern Conference) to Barclays Center on Wednesday for the second of three matchups between the two teams this season. Brooklyn currently leads the regular-season series 1-0.

In the first game, a Nets 102-101 win in Jan. 8, Brooklyn won a game that came down to the wire. Despite Kevin Durant suffering his right MCL injury in the third quarter of this game after running into Jimmy Butler, the Nets had a chance to win at the end. Royce O’Neale had a putback with 3.2 seconds left that gave Brooklyn the one-point win.

As has been the theme recently when previewing the Nets, Brooklyn is a fundamentally different team now than they were when they played the Heat in January. Now that the trade deadline has passed, the Nets are looking towards the future by investing in young players. Brooklyn has lost four of its last five games. Miami comes into this game having won three of its last five games, but have a significant amount of injuries. This has been a constant theme for the Heat this season as they have not been fully healthy at any point this season.
