Texas signed nine top-100 recruits in the 2023 cycle class per On3

Texas trails only Alabama and Georgia with the most top-100 recruits signed in the 2023 cycle.

Steve Sarkisian and his staff put together an excellent recruiting class for the 2023 cycle.

The group currently ranks No. 3 in the country, trailing only Alabama and Georgia. It’s a promising sign for the direction of Texas’ football program under Sark’s leadership.

The quality of the prospects signed in this class may be more impressive than you think. The Longhorns are one of only three schools to sign the most top-100 recruits in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 consensus.

Texas signed nine of the top-100 recruits, headlined by five-stars Arch Manning, Anthony Hill, Cedric Baxter and Johntay Cook. Fellow four-star recruits Malik Muhammad, Derek Williams, Ryan Niblett, Jelani McDonald and Colton Vasek also joined the group.

The nine top-100 recruits trail only Alabama (14) and Georgia (12). The next closest program was Ohio State with seven top-100 recruits signed.
