Ravens HC John Harbaugh tight-lipped on practice status of QB Lamar Jackson for Week 17

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh wasn’t committed to say if Lamar Jackson was going to be practicing leading up to Week 17

The Baltimore Ravens are down to their final two regular season games of 2022, currently standing at 10-5.  The team clinches a playoff berth Saturday afternoon, but have goals of winning the division.  Starting quarterback Lamar Jackson has been out the last three weeks with a knee injury and didn’t practice before Baltimore’s Week 16 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was asked during his weekly Monday press conference with the media if he expects Jackson to practice this week and Harbaugh was noncommittal with his answer. Baltimore has been extremely tight-lipped about Jackson’s situation, so it’s unclear when we’ll see him hit the field again.

“We’ll just have to see”

If and when the Baltimore Ravens get Jackson back, it will be a huge boost to the offensive game plan.  The running game has been outstanding since the return of J.K. Dobbins, so Jackson will be able to make more plays will his arm now that teams will be loading the box to stop the run.  If Jackson comes back and leads the team to two-straight victories, the Ravens will be AFC North champions.
