This 2024 4-star CB is planning another trip to the Swamp

The Gators are already working on the class of 2024 and should get four-star cornerback TyShun White back on campus soon.

Florida hosted four-star cornerback [autotag]TyShun White[/autotag] on an unofficial visit over the summer, and now the Gators are looking to get him back on campus. White hasn’t set a return date just yet, but he expects to be back in Gainesville in the second half of January, according to Gators Online.

His last trip to the Swamp ended with a scholarship offer, and defensive coordinator Patrick Toney and tight ends coach William Peagler have kept in touch with the Buford High (Georgia) recruit since then. White was complimentary of the staff in June and praised the school’s academics and facilities as second to none.

There’s also talk of a position change for White if he ends up in Hogtown. A cornerback at the high school level, Florida’s staff likes him more as a safety. That potential change hasn’t fazed White as he included the Gators in his top 13.

White said in June that Florida was in his top five, and the assumption is that Florida hasn’t lost too much favor despite having a rough season in 2022. Getting him back on campus should go a long way in his recruitment, so locking in a date is a top priority for the staff.

The On3 consensus ranks White as the No. 262 overall player in the class of 2024 and at No. 24 among cornerbacks. Georgia Tech, Auburn, Virginia Tech and North Carolina currently hold the best odds to land him on the On3 recruiting prediction machine.
