Injury Report: Donte DiVincenzo (non-COVID illness), JaMychal Green (healthy and safety protocols) out vs. Knicks

Donte DiVincenzo and JaMychal Green have been added to the injury report for the Warriors’ tilt against the Knicks on Tuesday.

To start the second leg of a road back-to-back, the Golden State Warriors will be without a group of core contributors on Tuesday night against the New York Knicks.

With Andrew Wiggins (adductor) and Steph Curry (shoulder) already out, the Golden State Warriors will also be missing Donte DiVincenzo and JaMychal Green at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday. DiVencenzo has been ruled out due to a non-COVID related illness and Green will miss Tuesday’s game due to the health and safety protocol.

Due to Golden State’s stretch of injuries, DiVincenzo has entered the starting lineup over the last three games. During that span, the Villanova product has helped provide scoring, tallying 15 or more points in two of his last three games.

Green is coming off one his highest-scoring performances of the season with 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field in Golden State’s win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.

Without four key pieces, Golden State’s young core will likely get a chance to play on Tuesday against the Knicks. Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, Patrick Baldwin Jr., Ryan Rollins and James Wiseman could be involved in the Warriors’ rotation in New York.

The Warriors will meet the streaking Knicks at 4:30 p.m. PT on Tuesday evening in the Big Apple.
