The Texas A&M Aggies haven’t won a football game since the month of September and Saturday afternoon should finally be the day this 6-game losing streak comes to an end.
Thanks to a team that hasn’t won a road game since October 2018 – a narrow Minutemen win at UConn – and find themselves (1-9) with a 7-game losing streak at hand, I can confidently (…finally) predict the Aggies’ misery comes to an end after some narrow SEC defeats extended their current losing streak (4 of their 6 consecutive losses have been one-possession games).
With only two more regular-season games left in 2022, and no post-season to play for, you hope that there’s enough pride in the locker room to battle for two victories – playing spoiler for LSU along the way – in an attempt to build towards the 2023 season. Time will certainly tell.
The Aggies host the Minutemen on Saturday at 11:00AM CT. This will be the first ever match-up between these two programs.
