After four consecutive losses away from the Bay Area, including three straight losses to start their five-game road swing, the Golden State Warriors will have the chance to get back into the win column on Thursday night against the Orlando Magic.
Heading into Orlando, the Warriors are coming off a loss to the Miami Heat. Steph Curry recorded his first triple-double of the season with 23 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists, but it wasn’t enough. With an eight-point lead going into the fourth quarter, the Warriors offense went cold as the Heat rallied to a 116-109 win.
On Thursday, the Warriors will get their first look at 2022 No. 1 overall pick Paolo Banchero. The Duke product has had a strong start to his NBA career, averaging 21.8 points on 44% shooting from the field with 7.6 boards and 3.6 assists per game.
