Nobody had a better Week 9 Saturday in college football than Ohio State defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau.
The sophomore Buckeyes defender entirely took over Ohio State’s game against Penn State, helping them snag a 44-31 win in Happy Valley.
During the monster performance, Tuimoloau posted up two picks (including one that went back for a touchdown), two sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, a batted pass that led to a pick and six tackles.
It’s perhaps been the finest effort from a college defender during the regular season so far, and it surely helped Tuimoloau’s draft stock for whenever he declares for the NFL.

The humble Tuimoloau didn’t even pat his own back much after making such a crucial impact during the win.
Ever humble, J.T. Tuimoloau deflected many of the questions about his spectacular performance, instead choosing to talk about the win. pic.twitter.com/4c2VEjNe3H

It’s safe to say that opposing offenses are going to be paying extra attention to him in the weeks to come.
