Bills tight end Dawson Knox has gone through a lot. It was a really fitting touch that his coach took on Sunday.
Following the Bills’ 24-20 win over the Chiefs in Week 6, McDermott made sure to point Knox out in his postgame locker room speech.
Referencing Knox has been through a lot off the field with the sudden loss of his younger brother, McDermott gave Knox one of the game balls for his effort against the Chiefs. Quarterback Josh Allen got the other, but Knox’s really hit home after his game-winning touchdown catch.
