The Buffalo Bills are overwhelming favorites over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5.
There are plenty of reasons for that, none more than rookie Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett making his first-career start against a strong Bills defense.
Whatever the reason may be, there isn’t much faith in Pittsburgh from the so-called “experts” ahead of kickoff.
According to NFL Pick Watch, essentially all the writers, analysts and talking heads on television are picking a Buffalo win. Their figures show that 99 percent of them have selected a Bills win this week at Highmark Stadium.
In this case, the group is again rolling right next to the sportsbooks.
Several, including Tipico, have Buffalo has a multi-score favorite. As of Friday, the Bills held a 14-point edge in the spread on the Steelers.
Such a massive number is actually historic. Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin has held his job since 2007 and this is the largest underdog he’s ever coached.
In addition to the spread, the over/under sits at 46.5.
